Mainpower north canterbury sports awards 2024
NC Sports is now calling for nominations for this year's MainPower North Canterbury Sports Awards.
The 2024 Awards will recognise the sporting achievements and service of the region's coaches, athletes, administrators, officials and clubs over the past two years, with winners announced at a gala dinner at MainPower Stadium on 2nd November.

Nomination deadline has been extended to 5pm on Friday 20th September 2024.

Please note this year we have decided to drop the Masters Team or Individual award due to the difficulty in getting nominations for this category. Masters athletes can still be nominated under the Sportsman or Sportswoman categories, and Masters teams can be nominated for the Teams Award.

Also note we have decided to discontinue with the Sports Club Award due to the high level of information required to ensure a fair judging process, and the workload that puts on club volunteers. To compensate for this we have expanded the Sports Event category to include both one-off tournaments as well as longer-duration competitions so that clubs have more opportunity to be recognised for their contributions to the North Canterbury sporting landscape.
