The MainPower North Canterbury Sports awards will now be held every two years with the next event later in 2026.
The MainPower Youth Sports Scholarships will continue to be held annually.

Mainpower youth sport scholarships 2025
Applications are now being accepted for the 2025 MainPower Youth Sport Scholarships.
Up to ten Youth Sports Scholarships of $2,000 are available to North Canterbury based athletes to assist them in advancing their sporting pursuits. From these Scholarship recipients a Gold and two Silver Scholarships may be awarded for additional scholarship funding of $5,000 and $2,500 each respectively.
These Scholarships are available to applicants between the ages of 12 and 20 years inclusive who (or whose parents / guardians) reside within the MainPower New Zealand Limited network.
